Vendor Setup - Adding Vendors & Pricing Workbooks
Adding your vendors to Turnable is a critical step of Turn Setup that must be completed before service work can be assigned. Although work can only be assigned to Teams, don't forget that you must add your vendors to the Vendors section in the menu bar, before you can add them to a Team. Add vendors any time after vendor contracts have been signed and you are confident in the pricing and capacity of the vendors anticipated to complete the work.
How to Add Vendors
- Login to Turnable
- Select the appropriate Turn Project, and Property if prompted.
- Select Turn Setup > Vendors
- Select Add Vendor
- Enter vendor information
- Select Save when you have finished
- Select Add Service
- Select a service from the drop down menu
- Select Submit
- Select Add Vendor Login
- Enter the vendor's email
- Complete the Personal Information form
- Select Add User
How to Add Pricing to the Pricing Workbook
The setup of vendor pricing is critical to ensuring budget-to-actuals are accurate, and that charges are created for the correct amount. Pricing is setup through the Pricing Workbook. You can either fill out the Pricing Workbook as you get to it during the setup of each vendor, or you can return to it later on.
- Navigate to the Vendors page and select the vendor you'd like to add pricing information for
- Turn Setup > Vendors > Select Vendor from list
- Or, if you are in the process of creating a vendor in real-time, you will be able to access the Pricing Workbook after completing the Add Service step.
- Select Pricing Workbook
- Select Edit
- Enter pricing information under each tab
- Select Save
- If you need to enter additional information for this vendor, select Back to List View. Otherwise, no further action is necessary.
